When passion meets profession

My attraction to wedding planning didn't happen by chance.

It all began just over 15 years ago, in a small village in Aveyron, where I was enjoying my weekend. The church bells rang, and the doors opened to reveal a procession of color. A wedding had just taken place. Chic English-style outfits in pastel colors, topped with stylish hats, blended with evening gowns in vibrant, fiery hues, creating a magical spectacle. In the middle of it all, a small woman dressed in black was bustling around, with a headset and notebook in hand. That Saturday, I discovered the profession of wedding planner and glimpsed the future of my business.

Let's go back several years. A Parisian life with my husband, where I held a position as a trilingual executive assistant responsible for internal and external communications, as well as organizing company events. It was during this time that I began to savor my attraction to event planning, a facet of my personality I could never deny, already very prominent during my childhood. Inviting my classmates over always meant creating an event: I would always choose a theme, costumes were a must, and for days, I would design decorations and imagine little skits.

After six years, my professional life took its first major turn—I became a freelancer. A trip to the United States introduced me to the world of the internet for the first time. Upon returning to France, I resumed my studies and became a Multimedia Project Manager - Webmaster.

Four intense and exciting years, but ultimately incompatible with my new role as a mother. A new turning point emerged, both personally and professionally. I moved to Toulouse and took on a salaried position in a large industrial group. It was a pragmatic choice, prioritizing my role as a mother, especially with the arrival of my second son.

I still satisfied my creative sideby organising events for friends and family and, one by one, decorating the rooms of our home.

Then came that day in the small village. Upon my return, I began to research this new profession of wedding planner. The idea took root, grew, and eventually, when my boys became more independent, I decided to embark on this new venture. I started by training in business creation and management, then joined the Wedding Academy. It was a training that combined both theoretical and practical aspects, giving me the confidence to start my business.

In fact, my first wedding planning experience was for one of the most renowned wedding planners in the region. It was both a terrifying and exciting challenge, and I knew I had to rise to the occasion. The starting gun had fired with great force.

I live my profession with passion every day, embracing both sides of who I am. I am the product of the union of two opposing personalities. A father of German descent, logical and structured, and a mother of Italian origin, an artist at heart. My father passed down to me an innate sense of organization, while my mother instilled in me a love for beauty and creativity.

All these years have led me to Twist N' Chic. My childhood games, my teenage parties, my professional and personal experiences, everything has fallen into place for me to become a wedding planner and wedding designer.

Whatever your needs, you will find a service that suits you. I only offer customized events tailored to your desires. Let me walk you through the steps I take to deliver premium services for every wedding project I assist with.

The first step will be for us to meet: a personalized consultation to discover your project. During this meeting, I won't just ask the usual questions, such as the date and location of your wedding, the number of guests, or the type of menu you want. I'll need to understand, above all, your personalities, how you live, your tastes, your hobbies, and your favorite colors.

Another Essential Question: Your Wedding Budget

This is a key question that must not remain taboo—it's the starting point from which we begin to sketch the "outlines" of your wedding, much like a first draft on a blank page. I provide you with several essential tools to ensure complete transparency as you track the progress of my work on your wedding preparations. You will have free access to our event management software, which allows you to manage guest lists, track your wedding budget, monitor vendor contracts, follow the timeline for your big day, and plan your seating arrangements. All key elements of your wedding will be noted and organized there.

Additionally, you'll have access to a personalized wedding website. This will help you communicate with your guests about practical details of the event (RSVPs, Day-of itinerary, accommodation, transportation, wedding registry, etc.).

These tools will be our shared allies throughout the project.

Once the essential pillars of your wedding are defined (such as the venue, the type of reception, choosing a caterer, and deciding on musical entertainment), I'll temporarily step aside from my role as Wedding Planner and put on my Wedding Designer hat. It's time to dive into the decorative theme and scenography of your wedding.

From our discussion, the latest trends, and inspirations I've gathered through my research, I'll create a guiding thread to design the ambiance and decor for your celebration. You'll discover the world of your wedding through a detailed Mood Board—a collection of inspiration boards where I'll present every detail of the event.

From the arrival of your guests at the venue, to your wedding ceremony, to thefirstdance, we'll cover it all: decor, flowers, stationery, wedding party, photographer, caterer, and so much more. Each detail will be presented according to the chronology of the event.

And so, over the months, we will move forward together. You will always remain in control, with the final decisions resting solely with you. As we approach the big day, we'll dive into the finer details, and I'll help you create the most meticulous wedding timeline, anticipating even the smallest elements.

We've arrived at the much-anticipated day: Wedding Day!

The day before will be dedicated to preparing the venue and setting up the decor. I like to offer a rehearsal for the civil or religious ceremony, taking full advantage of the setup already in place. With a wave of my wand, I set the rhythm for the procession, your walk down the aisle, each step in harmony with the music, every detail fine-tuned, so that on the big day, you are calm, and everyone knows their role.

Finally, the big day has arrived, and I'll be by your side from the very beginning. I will guide you, support you, and be there for you. I remain in constant communication with all vendors, finalize any last-minute details, welcome your guests, and organize every moment. Your only job is to fully enjoy this day—I will take care of everything. I am the conductor of your wedding's symphony, making sure that this day becomes your perfect day.
